About me

Hey, I’m Merika – a Los Angeles-based creative and visual storyteller.

I’m all about crafting bold, impactful visuals that connect. From cutting podcast series like That Will Never Work (hosted by Marc Randolph, Netflix co-founder) to creating eye-catching trailers, lyric videos, and behind-the-scenes content for musicians, I bring a fresh perspective to every project.

I’ve had the chance to work on projects with artists like MGK, Tyler Posey, Nessa Barrett, and Jxdn, turning their music into striking visuals that hit hard. My portfolio also includes editing The Ballad of Uncle Drank, driving viral content for FaZe Clan’s All Grown Up series, and collaborating on the production of the short film W.I.L.S.D.M., from pre-production to festival premieres. I also worked on killer marketing assets for Stephen King’s Strawberry Spring.

Beyond video, I’m skilled in graphics and animation, working closely with design teams to integrate raw files into polished social assets and videos. I’m proficient in Canva, Lightroom, and Photoshop, with a solid understanding of Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe plugins. Whether it’s using templates from Envato Elements or crafting custom animated graphics, I can add a dynamic, professional edge to any project.

Whether I’m behind the lens with a Canon 5D Mark IV, Sony FX6, or Blackmagic camera, or cutting it all together in Premiere Pro and After Effects, I’m about delivering visuals that don’t just look good—they feel good.

Got a project? Let’s make something unforgettable. Hit me up to collaborate— or to grab coffee and dream big.
